London Whisky

The first English Single Malt Whisky finished in our own Rum Casks. The casks were new American Oak.

Our objective is to create and set the highest standards in London Whisky by painstaking craftsmanship Matured, Rum Cask Finished, Bottled Labelled and Wax Sealed In Bond at our North London Old Bakery Building.

Our Story

After having resurrected London’s oldest illicit Gin Distillery, we have turned our hand to producing the UK’s first Single Malt Whisky which has been finished in a Rum Cask, our own Rum Casks. When we started our journey, Allen Daly, Soho Legend and boss at Gerrys of Soho, a Spirits institution based in Soho for 50 years and with combined product and industry experience of 100 years…..held our hands and helped along with sage advice.

Our Single Malt Whisky is bottled in bond, hand labelled and wax sealed on our premises by our plumbers. Allen Daly’s picture adorns every bottle, our London Whisky is dedicated to Allen as thank you from all of us.

An Honour to make

Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, published in the 14th century makes reference to a distilled drink, experts have argued f or a long time that it may have been the first reference to English Whisky, sadly the truth has been lost in time. The plumbers here at Leakbusters Limited and now Old Bakery Distillery are delighted and honoured be associated with old craft of distilling in London. Part of our future plans are to launch new expressions of our London Whisky.
